CHÂTEAU LA HOURQUEYRE

Grape varieties: Merlot (65%)
and Cabernet Sauvignon (35%)
Aging: 12 months in French oak barrels and concrete tanks
A POWERFUL AND ELEGANT WINE.
Grapes were harvested slightly over-ripe in early October, giving this wine a new freshness combined with the great Médoc tradition. The grapes are harvested, sorted and moved by gravity-flow to concrete and stainless vats for initial fermentation, then to French oak barrels until the end of vinification. Deep dark color with notes of blackberies and dark forest fruits. Ready to drink now or it will age beautifully as well.

Aging: “Vinification Intégrale,” then 12 months in French oak barrels.
A SMALL BATCH PRODUCTION
We selected the best plots of the property to create these exceptional single-varietal vintages. Rich, full-bodied, and complex, these single varietals exemplify the classic Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon Medoc tradition. We call them “LE JOLI CABERNET” (The Pretty Cabernet) and “LE JOLI MERLOT” (The Pretty Merlot). Luscious, luxurious with intense notes of ripe red fruits and silky tannins.
LE JOLI ROSÉ

Grape varieties: Merlot (99%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (1%)
Aging: 6 months inox vats
A SUBTLE, DRY AND FRESH ROSÉ
Mainly Merlot with a few Cabernet grapes, harvested at the peak of its fruitiness.
Bright, coral color. A lively nose of wild strawberries and white peaches, with a lovely clean attack and a full, long finish. Very pure fruit bouquet on the finish.
Le Joli Rouge
Appellation: AOC Médoc 2023
Grape varieties: Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (20%)
Aging: 10 months in concrete tank
A FRESH AND FRUITY RED WINE
Harvested very early in the morning, we pick a spontaneous blend of the two varieties of the property, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine has been crafted by a meticulous process that carefully preserves the grapes and aromas and we create this MEDOC, simply called LE JOLI ROUGE.
